Casa Caritas
HOME FOR THE MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY DISABLED CHILDREN
Casa Caritas is a residential care facility providing life-long care to physically and mentally handicapped persons who are unable to be trained or educated. The center is administrated by a Governing Body which consists of Professional people from the community. We are dedicated to providing a warm and nurturing environment for all our residents.
Casa Caritas is a NPO (Non Profit Organisation). We are a 100% private home and receive no subsidies from the Government. We run a few fundraisers during the year to raise the funds needed to break even with the budget.
Residents
At the moment we have 37 FULL-TIME RESIDENTS AND 3 DAY CARE
The only real home some of them know is Casa Caritas, where they are cared for with compassion and love.
we are licensed to accommodate 55 full- time residents and 10 day care.
Criteria:
NO ADULTS
• Children between 3 and 14 years of age.
• Only most severe mentally and physically handicapped persons (not trainable)
• Not aggressive for the safety of other residents.
• Not hyper active.
